Order up--Grubhub is coming right to your door!
While scrolling through the Grubhub app interface, I got the idea to animate the various steps of delivery leaping out of the phone. This animation plays with UI animation and making vector elements feel and behave 3D while still being entirely 2D drawn in After Effects.

Fresh look, same great product

Inspired by the fantastic work done by Turner Duckworth, this short ad highlights the new box designs and the bouncy, playful feeling that they bring. The elastic text is the highlight of this project that took a lot of trial and error to get feeling correct.

Game Point!! -- the US Open is right around the corner.

With the US Open coming up, I thought it would be fun to make an animation pushing the limits of fake 3D in After Effects. I got a lot of practice with gradient maps and how to manipulate them in a way that felt satisfying.
